There have been various instances in my life when I knew that there was someone close by, but not physically present. It sounds incredulous unless you have personally experienced it. Some moments have been coincidences, meeting a certain person at a certain time, feelings and impressions, but the longer I am alive the more I realize there is no such thing as coincidences, that there are angels. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland said, “But God knew the challenges they would face, and He certainly knew how lonely and troubled they would sometimes feel. So He watched over His mortal family constantly, heard their prayers always, and sent prophets (and later apostles) to teach, counsel, and guide them. But in times of special need, He sent angels, divine messengers, to bless His children, reassure them that heaven was always very close and that His help was always very near.” https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/2008/11/the-ministry-of-angels?lang=eng
We each have our battles. The list grows each day as I find out about difficulties friends and family are having. I testify to you that you are not alone. I testify to you that there are angels fighting for us, helping us, and cheering us on.
