How Are We Going to Endure to the End in Faith and Hope?

Good question, isn’t it? How will we endure to the end in faith and hope? How will we be worthy to live with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Archer again? That is the purpose behind this Blog. It will help us to focus on what we are doing to achieve these goals. It will share with you our ups and downs, what we have found that works for us. It will give you the chance to share with us what has worked for you. This is a work in progress, not a “look we’ve done it, so you can too.” What we have found in many conference talks is what can be found in 2Ne31:20:

Here is the current list we’ve created to study:

1: How do we press forward with a steadfastness in Christ?

2: How can we have a perfect brightness of hope?

3: How can we have a love of God and all men?

4: Are we feasting upon the word of Christ or are we just nibbling?

5: How do these things lead us to endure to the end in faith and hope?

6: Why would we want to have eternal life? What is eternal life?

While we’ve studied there are a few things that have come to mind, or we have found… How can we sing: “Jesus take the wheel,” when we haven’t even put the keys in the ignition? Enduring to the end is not just “hanging in there.” Dealing with grief changes how you view things, but also adds a level of exhaustion that makes dealing with stress different. We haven’t been able to get ourselves to go to the temple yet. In my head I know we need to, but my heart is just so broken… I am not excited to be the one sobbing through the ordinances. It will be a fight to get there, but we will, and hopefully we can find peace there. It will be one of the many struggles we have as we watch couples hold and play with their babies, see the cute chubby fingers that remind me of Archer’s and know I have to wait to hold him again. But in the end the goal is to be able to say: I have fought a good fight… Right now I want to be able to say: I keep the faith. I am fighting to the end. I am honoring Archer and Christ by enduring in faith and hope.
