Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul both sure and steadfast (Hebrews 6: 17-19, KJV)
There are times in our lives that we have fallen into a metaphorical pit so deep that it seems there is no way out. Where all things seem lost. What do we do in these moments? If you are like me, we turn to God for help and relief. For us to finally turn to God we had to fall into that pit of despair. When God does answer our prayers and life begins to get easier, some of us forget that God was our answer to a better existence. Why wait until life seems impossible to turn to God? Life may not get easier, but we can know that we are never truly alone and that we have comfort in knowing that we can overcome our troubles. I have learned to turn to God for help where I can gain peace when I am overwhelmed with life. Having this hope as Paul has written will help us weather any storm.
